If you're bored of the same old boxsets and fancy something new to watch then Sky is offering a nice little TV boost. The satellite firm has just announced a deal that's dishing out six months of the Apple TV+ for free. This service, which is similar to Netflix and Disney+, includes award-winning movies such as Coda plus telly series like The Morning Show.
The timing of this free deal also couldn't be better with the hotly anticipated third season of Ted Lasso just launching on the streaming platform. The hugely popular series follows US coach Lasso has he attempts to take Richmond football club to Premier League glory.
Apple TV+ usually costs £6.99 per month so this Sky deal will save a total of over £40.
So how do you claim this deal?
Sky says that signing up is simple with those who use products including Glass and Stream just needing to head to the Sky VIP service which can be found via the My Sky app.
For those not aware, Sky VIP is the firm's free loyalty plan and is available to all customers who have accounts with the company.
Once you're all signed up for VIP, the Apple TV+ deal should then be available with content not only beamed to the biggest screen in the home but also to smartphones and tablets.
It's been confirmed that this deal will be available until June 30, 2023, so there is plenty of time before things run out. The only thing to note is that you must cancel after six months or you will start being charged as it will auto-renew from month seven
As we mentioned earlier, this deal is available on Sky Glass and Sky Stream with both of these products ditching the dish.
This makes installation easier with customers simply plugging in, connecting to the Wi-Fi and then watching the telly. In fact, both Stream and Glass offer a DIY set-up.
The palm-sized Sky Stream box links to any existing TV in the home whilst Sky Glass features its own display and soundbar.
Both of these gadgets feature full access to live TV plus apps such as Apple TV+ and Netflix. Although there's no in-built hard drive for physical recordings, a Playlists section can store favourite content on the cloud and via catch-up players
There is also voice full search capabilities and a remote with backlit keys helps to punch in the numbers when the lights get low.
Sky Stream starts from £26 per month with Glass costing around £40 per month.
