TikTok star 'Simple' Simon Colbran is targeting a "brilliant" fight against Jake Paul's dad Greg after his ring debut against Ed Matthews.
Colbran, 52, meets social media celebrity Matthews, 20, in the main event of a Kingpyn boxing event this Saturday at The O2 Indigo. The event, which is being dubbed 'Settling Scores', features several well-known content creators on the card with OnlyFans star Elle Brooke and former Love Island contestant AJ Bunker meeting in the co-headliner.
Colbran had no fighting experience before training for his fight with Matthews, which came about after the pair became embroiled in a feud on TikTok. The 52-year-old said if things go to plan against Matthews, he thinks a fight against Paul's dad Greg would be received well by fans.
"I wouldn’t mind another fight and if it goes well, I’d like to fight Greg Paul," Colbran told Mirror Fighting . "I’m not calling him out but I’m saying if things went well against Ed, then someone like Greg Paul would be brilliant. I think we’re the same age, he’s into fitness as well. Both of his son's box, he’s got a big following in the US and I’ve got a big following in the UK. I just think it would be ideal and go down quite well."
Jake's dad Greg, 58, has almost 400,000 followers on Instagram with Colbran boasting close to the same number on TikTok. The Brit will first have to deal with Matthews, who recently had his teenage brother spar Colbran at his gym ahead of their grudge fight.

Colbran has praised Greg's son Jake for proving his doubters wrong in boxing. Jake's move from YouTube to the ring was heavily criticised by fans but the 25-year-old has started to win the respect of many by challenging himself against tougher competition. 'The Problem Child' is undefeated in five professional fights and has knocked out every opponent he's faced so far, which includes former UFC champion Tyron Woodley and former Bellator champion Ben Askren.
"He’s a fighter isn’t he," Colbran said of Jake. "At the end of the day he did get a lot of hate but he didn’t give up. He pushed forward and fair play to him, people like that I have so much respect for because they don’t let the people that shouldn’t win, win. He must be a strong person inside."
