Simple blood test could accurately detect ovarian cancer in its early stages

A straightforward blood test shows promise in accurately detecting ovarian cancer at its earliest stages, potentially revolutionising care and outcomes for women affected by the disease, researchers suggest.

The innovative test identifies two distinct blood markers in individuals presenting with symptoms such as pelvic pain and bloating. It then employs machine learning to discern complex patterns that would be imperceptible to human analysis.
