Netflix has announced the release date for Simone Biles Rising: Part Two, drawing inspiration from the popular show Emily in Paris. The premiere date was revealed in a video shared on social media on August 21. In the video, Simone Biles quoted lines from Emily in Paris while sitting in front of the Eiffel Tower, adding a touch of Parisian flair to the announcement.
The show, which follows Biles as she prepared for her Olympics comeback after experiencing the 'twisties' at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, consists of four episodes in total. The first two episodes were released in July, showcasing Biles' journey towards competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Biles made a triumphant return to the global stage in Paris, winning a total of four medals, including gold in the team event and individual all-around final. She expressed openness to potentially participating in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, highlighting her ongoing dedication to the sport.
Outside of her gymnastics career, Biles shared her aspirations of starting a family with her husband, Jonathan Owens. Despite their current focus on personal and professional goals, Biles mentioned that having children is definitely in their future plans.
Simone Biles Rising: Part Two is set to premiere on Netflix on October 25, offering viewers a deeper look into Biles' journey and achievements in the world of gymnastics.
