Simone Biles, the renowned American gymnast, has achieved a remarkable milestone in her career by becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history. This achievement comes just over three years after a challenging episode of the 'twisties' led her to withdraw from Team USA's pursuit of defending its gymnastics team gold.
On Tuesday, Biles led the US women's gymnastics team to victory in the team event, securing her fifth Olympic gold medal. She was joined by her teammates Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera in this historic triumph.
