Simon Jordan reckons Celtic are 'miles away' from Rangers and has predicted that Michael Beale will 'get his backside handed to him'.
The former Light Blues No2 has returned in the top role after being announced as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's successor following the sacking of the Dutchman. Work on the training ground is well underway with the Ibrox men returning to Premiership action next midweek with Hibs making the trip to Glasgow under the lights.
Beale returns to Ibrox just over a year after his departure to Aston Villa alongside Steven Gerrard and his backroom team. He then left Villa Park for a crack at management in his own right with English Championship side QPR giving him a first taste in the dugout. Back in October he rejected the chance to join Wolves to stick with the Loftus Road side, citing loyalty and integrity as key factors behind his decision - only to leave for Rangers weeks later.

talkSPORT host Jordan has been a critic of Beale over that call and has now taken to the airwaves once again to express his latest views on Rangers' new boss.
Speaking on air, he said: "This guy, in my view, will get his backside handed to him by Celtic.
"Celtic are miles away in terms of their dugout and their financial section. I think he will reap what he sows.
"There are too many football managers out there who don't understand that it's not about taking every opportunity, but taking the right opportunity.
"Loyalty is a two-way transaction. The bottom line is QPR gave him an opportunity, nobody else gave him that. He was going from being an assistant manager, which is vastly different.
"Integrity and decency and loyalty are things that will carry you much further."
