Michael Beale will "get what he deserves" at Rangers, according to Simon Jordan.
The ex-Crystal Palace owner has referenced the Ibrox gaffer's refusal to join Wolves earlier this campaign, before eventually becoming Gers No.1 a short while after.
Rangers' latest defeat to Celtic on Sunday has led to louder criticisms aimed towards Beale and his team selection.
The 42-year-old will be wishing the next month away so he can tear the first-team squad at the club up and bring in his own players in the transfer market ahead of next term.
However, for Jordan, he insists the Ibrox coach will reap what he has sewn now he's in the "big boy chair" in Glasgow having left Loftus Road back in November.
"He did a very good job at QPR which got a lot of attention," Jordan explained on talkSPORT. "Clearly he's a very capable individual, but he clearly doesn't know at times when to speak and when not to speak, like we can all be guilty of.
"To make the ridiculous assertions he made about not wanting to go to Wolves, then catching the first bus out to Rangers, made him look slightly hypocritical.
"Would he regret (joining Rangers)? Well no, because Rangers is a big football club and if you've got ambition and believe in yourself then you're going to take the bigger opportunity. Rangers, in Scotland, is a bigger opportunity than QPR. They're languishing in the bottom third of the second tier of English football and have been in disarray off the field for some time. They've got themselves into all manner of problems and haven't punched their weight.
"But going back to Rangers, I don't know about the fella. When you start saying silly things that contradict yourself, and you make observations about what you're going to do but don't do them and do the polar opposite, I believe everything someone says until they tell me a lie, then I'll never believe a word they say again.
"When he said no to Wolves, I was the first one to say 'fair play to him.' That surprised me, but then bang! He goes to Rangers. You can get the back story, yeah yeah, he was there with Gerrard. Whatever."
Asked by Jim White if he could cut Beale some slack, Jordan snapped: "I can cut him no slack. QPR gave him an opportunity. There was no queue of people waiting to give him a first-team manager's job. He got an opportunity given to him and there should have been more respect for QPR.
"He will reap his own potential whirlwind. He wants the big boy seat at Rangers, this is the price of the ticket. He's in the big boy seat now. Away you go. The only job you've got to do now is win at Rangers, and if you don't get it you'll get exactly what you deserve.
"Your loyalty, your support, your backbone, your football nous took you to Rangers. Let's hope it works out for you because you'll get exactly what you deserve."
