Former Crystal Palace owner and talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has warned Patrick Vieira and Gary O'Neil about the expectations of Leeds United's impending new owners. Former Eagles boss Vieira has been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer, while O'Neil is set to be on the hunt for a new job after leaving Bournemouth earlier this week.
There's nothing to link with former Cherries boss with a move to Yorkshire at this stage, but that hasn't stopped conversation.
"A little bit [surprised]." Jordan told talkSPORT when asked about links with Vieira. "With all due respect to Patrick I'm not sure I heard the greatest things going on behind the scenes at Palace.
"Football is like a colander all the news falls out the bottom of it so we'll see how good his agents are. Get him in front of the American ownership and spin them a yarn."

The former Palace owner has warned Leeds will have big expetations next summer, adding: "I think Leeds is a tiger by the tail. You want to be careful when you’ve got new American owners with huge expectations.”
O'Neil recently left Bournemouth with former Leeds United managerial target Andoni Iraola taking over at the Vitality Staiudm.
“We’re so excited to welcome Andoni to the club,” said Bournemouth owner and chairman Bill Foley. “With his contract in Spain coming to an end this summer we wanted to act quickly.
“He was highly sought after by other clubs across the continent. His style of play has been an important factor in making this decision. His achievements in Spain have certainly been very impressive. And we’re confident that he is the right man to lead our next chapter.
“We have identified a number of targets in the transfer market, which along with our January additions will supplement our strong playing squad to give Andoni the best chance to consolidate our Premier League status and keep progressing.”
