Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan believes Leeds United will challenge in the Premier League at some point after takeover talks resurfaced earlier this week. Reports suggest the 49ers Enterprises now have acquired the funds to buy out Andrea Radrizzani.
Jordan adds that was always the end game for the organisation and Leeds United. The Whites recent battle against relegation has done nothing to deter the interest from America.
The Athletic first reported a deal has already been agreed between Radrizzani and Enterprises on a takeover which has a deadline in January 2024.

Jordan said: “Now you’ll probably see Leeds be involved in a takeover soon and in the hands of the Americans because that was always going to be the end game, but I happen to be a huge admirer of them as a football club.
“If someone gets hold of them and supports them economically, they’re a ‘happening’. I think Leeds will arrive and challenge at some point.”
