Simon Jordan has labelled Pep Guardiola a "chequebook manager" in a sensational rant comparing the Manchester City boss with Jurgen Klopp.

The Spaniard has continued to lap up the plaudits of late following his side's 5-0 Champions League triumph over Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday, and on the back their recent Premier League dominance.

City are currently nine points clear of Klopp's Liverpool in the league standings, having played one game more, and remain on track to retain their Premier League title.
