Heidi Klum was in disagreement with Simon Cowell after his comments towards a fan-favourite on America's Got Talent.
The model and co-star to Simon shut down the music mogul on the latest episode of the popular talent competition.
A contestant named Freckled Zelda impressed the audience and judges during her audition after turning up dressed as a fairy.
She also had a "potato" flute and donned a pair of elf ears to complete her extravagant look.
Addressing the judges before her audition, she said: "I'm a music fairy."
Simon, 62, didn't seem to be looking forward to the performance and asked: "Really?"
The contestant replied: "Indeed I am, Simon," before he called her "interesting" in a sarcastic manner after a bit of back and forth.
As she got her audition underway, Simon could be seen looking less than hopeful with the cameras picking up his eye roll.
However, her powerful voice pleasantly surprised the judges who looked on stunned as she successfully performed a unique cover of Colours of the Wind.
She received a huge round of applause from the audience which led to her bursting into tears before she awaited the judges' feedback.
Host Terry Crews told the camera "it was beautiful" among the rapturous applause.
Then, in normal Simon fashion, he was honest with his comments, saying: "I tell you what, when you walked out, I thought this really is going to be terrible - I did."
Despite booing from the crowd, Simon continued: "But actually you’ve got a really good voice.
"I don’t like the instrument, don’t think it’s necessary. Carry on looking like that if you want, because you’re interesting."
But Heidi wasn't in complete agreement with Simon's feedback, telling the hopeful she "nailed that" before admitting she loved it.
Disagreeing with Simon, she added: "I thought the potato flute was really cool and I love that you are unique and different."
"America’s Got Talent is a variety show, and we don’t all have to be the same."
Freckled Zelda received a flurry of positive feedback on social media too following her performance.
One Twitter user said: "She is so amazing! Definitely unexpected in a good way!"
Another added: "Lil weird but beautiful voice. Be that fairy," while a third pleaded: "Keep the Flute."
