Simon Cowell's son Eric was 'so mad' at him for riding e-bike after two horror crashes

Simon Cowell has revealed his son, Eric, gave him an earful after the 8-year-old discovered his daredevil dad had got back up on his e-bike after two horrific crashes.

Back in February, music mogul Simon, 62, was left in agony when he fell off his beloved e-bike and broke his arm.

It came after the X Factor mogul previously broke his back following a similar fall in Malibu back in 2020.

Following his two horror crashes, naturally, his son Eric was less than impressed after he found out his dad was back riding the bike which caused him so much pain.

Although Simon is eager to get back on the saddle, his son was furious about it.

In a new interview, Simon revealed his eight-year-old mini-me 'made him walk' back to their hotel after spotting him on the e-bike.

Speaking to Mail Online, the Britain's Got Talent star revealed he's an incredibly accident prone person - and his son Eric is always looking out for him.

"I’ve always been very accident prone! Luckily it wasn’t too bad so you learn something from it. But you won’t get me off the bike," he told.

"'I actually went on one the other day, I was somewhere where I wasn’t on a road and I took my bike with me, and I actually thought, "I need to get back on my bike". Then Eric saw me and went crazy. He was so mad, he made me walk it," Simon added.

He went on to explain: "We were at a hotel so he made me walk it back to the restaurant and then to our room.

"It’s like role reversal going on now, I’m now the child and he’s the parent, it’s hysterical.

"The good thing was I wasn’t nervous when I got on it, I really enjoyed it."

It comes after Simon avoided a serious injury during his second e-bike crash in February when he got on his e-bike without a helmet.

During the height of the pandemic, Simon was also bed-ridden for weeks on end after he broke his back following his first horror crash.
