Simon Cowell was reportedly furious at David Walliams for making a rude joke on Britain's Got Talent.
David, 50, was in his element when a copper came on stage in his uniform and joked: "Arrest me now!" as Tim Jones, 48, stood in front of the judges.
As the police officer from Gloucester talked about his talent, David jumped in and asked: "Is it getting your c*** out?"
Simon shouted: "Apologise now!" which only made cheeky David's behaviour worse and he repeated the question.
He then added: "Do you swing it around?"
The 62-year-old Syco founder said: "Get out, get out! This is supposed to be a family show."
But David's gags didn't quite land with all the audience members and Simon turned to them and said: "When we have a break we’ll make him sit on his own for ten minutes.”
Someone in the audience told The Sun : “It was clear that David was sailing close to the wind with his jibes.
“Then he went too far. Simon was visibly angry with him and exploded.”
David is known for his ability to easily wind Simon Cowell up with his silly jokes and jibes.
Simon, who proposed to his long-term girlfriend and baby mama Lauren Silverman over New Year, has been the butt of many of David's jokes.
After one act actually incorporated a proposal into the performance and David quipped that at least they didn't wait around for seven years.
He was spotted out with his new fiancé who was wearing her huge diamond engagement ring.
A jeweller has estimated that the rock cost a whopping £2.5million and is one of the highest quality diamonds.

He'd originally said that the idea of marriage "bored" him but it seems that he's come around to the idea.
Simon's latest ITV show Walk The Line is expected to be axed after just one series.
The new contest only had three-million viewers last month.
A telly source said: “It just didn’t take off.”
