Simon Cowell has contacted Sinitta about a reboot of The X Factor.
The music mogul is in talks to bring back the singing show after years off air, and his pal Sinitta - who was always on hand to help him during the Judges' Houses round - has confirmed Simon has been in touch about the show.
It has been reported that The X Factor will be back after Simon joined talks for big-money deal for its return.
Sinitta has also pitched a string of ideas for the upcoming series, and thinks her changes will make the show a huge success.
"I'm so excited about it and I have spoke to Simon and I think it would be great for it to come back. I need to hear more," she said to the MailOnline as she discussed the prospect of the show's return, "He was kind of like, 'We'll talk next week,' so I don't know if he was just being evasive or if he was genuinely busy but I was like, 'Let's talk, what's going on?'"
And now Sinitta has suggested a huge change to the show - which would see it brought online so it could become more international and the world could get involved with the talent show, as acts and viewers.
She added: "I think talent needs to be showcased, needs to be discovered. They need the help and it's a great platform if it can be done again in a modern way maybe online so that the world can join.
"I personally think online would be amazing. I think for it to be live streamed online to make it interactive and international would be incredible because that's the way the world is now, yeah."
Sinitta then suggested she would be up for a return as a judge - or mentor - as she wondered whether judges were needed for this new possible format change. She explained how she felt it was more important that people got advice, mentoring and had help in being "shaped" for their music career ahead rather than judging from others.
She also said how she felt it was better that the audience and general public acted as the judges instead.
It comes after it was claimed that The X Factor could return in a huge money deal after years off air.
"It has been decided that the time is right to bring X Factor back. It’s really exciting. Everyone who will be working on the new series can’t wait to get started," a source told the Daily Star at the time.
