A Lamborghini driver had to be rescued from the motorway after running out of petrol . . . and was then charged with failing a drugs test.
The blue supercar had been low on fuel when it spluttered to a halt on the M8 near Glasgow Airport.
But the driver's rescuers turned into captors and he was taken into custody after being allegedly found with a Class-A drug.
