Roadworks aimed at addressing congestion and improving road safety are to begin in Glengormley from Monday 20th February and are expected to last until summer.
The works include the development of a new right turn lane on the Antrim Road at the junction of Church Way and Glenwell Road in the town.
A traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the project which will include a lane closure from the Bank of Ireland to beyond the junction. This will operate between 9.30am – 4.30pm, Monday - Friday. Some pedestrian footways will also be affected as under-ground utilities will also be upgraded.
