NEW DELHI: Commuters in the city had a tough week, with a technical glitch affecting train services on Delhi Metro's Blue Line (Dwarka-Vaishali/Noida Electronic City) on Thursday. Monday had seen autorickshaws and cabs go off the roads due to a strike. This was followed by two more days of massive surge pricing and long waiting periods as cab drivers continued their protest against the increase in CNG prices.
Around 9am on Thursday, a glitch in the signalling system of the Blue Line resulted in slow train movement. Many commuters took to social media to complain that they had to wait for more than half an hour for a train on the busy corridor during peak rush hour.
