Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case: Bishnoi withdraws Delhi HC plea 'apprehending fake encounter’

New Delhi: Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is suspected to be involved in killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, on Wednesday withdrew his petition from Delhi High Court, claiming apprehension of a fake encounter by the Punjab Police.

Counsel for Bishnoi moved the petition urging for his safety before giving his custody to any other state police, including the Punjab Police and a direction to the Tihar Jail authority and the Delhi Police to ensure the necessary safeguards.
