JAIPUR: A team of Punjab Police on Monday took custody of a history-sheeter of Sardarshahar in connection with the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. He was lodged at the district jail in a firing and extortion case. Punjab Police was invited by their Churu counterparts who informed them that the arrested accused was found with the registration papers of the vehicle that was found on the spot where Moose Wala was murdered.
A team of Punjab Police led by Jogindra Pal Singh, the circle inspector of Mansa, came to Sardarshahar and later took the accused identified as Arshad Ali in their custody for interrogation. “We had arrested him in a firing case almost a month ago. During interrogation we found some registration papers of the vehicle that was found on the spot where Moose Wala was murdered,” said Churu SP Digant Anand said on Tuesday.
