Sidhu Moose Wala killing: Ludhiana Police bringing Jaggu Bhagwanpuria on production warrant

LUDHIANA: Punjab's Ludhiana Police is bringing the dreaded gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria on a production warrant on Monday.

The police has already arrested his close friend Sandeep Singh Kahlon and Satbir Singh of Amritsar who had sent shooters to Bathinda with two bags of weapons.

Jaggu Bhagwanpuria is in the custody of Punjab police in the Moose Wala murder case.

Inspector Beant Juneja, in-charge CIA-II of Ludhiana police commissionerate, stated that during the interrogation, Amritsar residents Satbir Singh and Sandeep Kahlon had revealed that they had sent the shooters Mandeep Toofan and Manpreet Rayya with weapons to Bathinda, 10 days before Moose Wala was gunned down.

Juneja added, "Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has been linked to Sandeep Kahlon for decades. Bhagwanpuria had asked Kahlon to arrange transportation of Toofan and Rayya following which Kahlon had asked his friend Satbir to drop the duo along with another unidentified person, to Bathinda. Thereafter, Satbir had dropped the trio with weapons. We are bringing Bhagwanpuria on a production warrant today for questioning."
