MUMBAI: After Arjun Tendulkar, another cricketer is set to part ways with Mumbai. On Monday, batsman Siddhesh Lad, applied for a No-Objection Certificate from his parent body, the Mumbai Cricket Association, to play for another domestic side after representing Mumbai since 2013.
According to sources, Lad, who is currently playing club cricket (Lancashire Cricket League) in England, is in talks with two-three domestic teams (Goa, Uttarakhand and Tripura), and will finalize his new side in the next few days. He is likely to be the new captain of either Goa or Uttarakhand.
