Siddesh Lad, Akhil Herwadkar want to play for Mumbai again

MUMBAI: Middle-order batsman Siddesh Lad and opener Akhil Herwadkar have expressed their willingness to play for Mumbai again.

"Both Lad and Herwadkar have got the NOC from their previous associations, and have communicated to the MCA that they want to play for Mumbai again. The two have served their cooling off period last season," a source in the Mumbai Cricket Association told TOI.

Lad played for Goa, while Herwadkar turned out for Chhatisgarh in the 2022-23 season.

Both of them were a part of Mumbai's 41st Ranji victory in the 2015-16 season.
