A charity shop in Falkirk has been broken into and had it till stolen leaving staff "absolutely gutted".
Officers were alerted to the incident after staff at Save A Staffie on Graham's Road arrived at work to discover the premisses had been broken into.
It's believed to have happened some time between 3:30pm on Friday February 11 and 10am on Monday February 14.
A post on the shops Facebook page said: "Hi everyone we are absolutely gutted to tell you all this.
Our lovely little shop was broken into over the weekend.
"We have had our shop till stolen and we were wondering if anyone has a spare till going we could have we would appreciate it so so much.
"Thank you everyone for your continual support!"
Cops are asking anyone who might have witnessed or heard anything suspicious to get in touch.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a break-in and theft at a premises on Grahams Road in Falkirk, which occurred between 3.30pm on Friday, 11 February, and 10am on Monday, 14 February, 2022.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
