Barking town centre's long-shuttered Broadway Theatre could fully reopen within three years, following a pivotal decision by local council leaders this week.
The venue has been closed since 2024 after the discovery of dangerous, crumbly concrete within its structure. Barking and Dagenham Council has confirmed that this concrete is scheduled for removal by November, paving the way for its revival.
