NEW DELHI: The India team has begun its preparations for the Asia Cup with a closed-door camp in Alur, where squad members are undergoing standard fitness testing ahead of the continental event, which begins on August 31.

The required Yo-Yo test, which young opener Shubman Gill topped with an outstanding score of 18.7, is being undertaken alongside the numerous fitness and medical exams.
