Shruti Haasan addresses the issue of ageism in the industry; says there is beauty and grace with every age

Shruti Haasan recently opened up about the whole debate of ageism in Bollywood. According to her there is beauty and grace with every age.

In an interview with a news portal, Shruti said that ageism in the world is an issue. According to her, we live in a youth and vanity-driven world today and the question is whether you want to buy into it or not. The actress also added that there is beauty and grace with every age.

There are certain roles you can play with only a certain amount of age and experience and those are the things she likes to focus on and not get into the whole ageism talk, Shruti told Pinkvilla.

On the work front, Shruti will next be seen in an international film ‘The Eye’, to be directed by Daphne Schmon. The psychological thriller will also feature Mark Rowley, as per the Hollywood trade website Deadline. The Eye also features Anna Savva, Linda Marlowe and Christos Stergioglou.

Apart from this, she will also be seen in ‘Salaar’ co-starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie will be released across India in five languages.
