Shriya Saran opens up about Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Myositis diagnosis; says this is just a phase and she will come out stronger

Shriya Saran recently opened up about her ‘Manam’ co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu who was recently diagnosed with Myositis. According to her, this is just a phase and Samantha would come out stronger.

In an interview with a news portal, Shriya said that Samantha is a very strong girl and a beautiful person inside and out. According to the actress, this is just a phase in Samantha’s life and that the ‘talented’ actress will come out of it stronger.

Samantha opened up about her diagnosis just a few days before the release of her last film, ‘Yashoda’. The actress shared that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. She wrote in her post, ‘I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes (sic).’

Meanwhile, Shriya is basking on the super success of her film, ‘Drishyam 2’ co-starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna and others. The film was released on November 18, 2022.
