The new 76 registration plate arrives tomorrow and, although I’m not sure a new number plate has quite the pull it once did, I’ll still notice the first one I see.
When I was a lad and plate change day was once a year on August 1, I’d compile a written list of the number of new-reg cars I’d seen that day and compare year-on-year. Yes, I was that kid!
