Should the feud between Boston Celtics fans and Nets star Kyrie Irving be forgotten?

If you read between the lines of some of the ire and cryptic things said by former Boston Celtics and current Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving when the topic of the day is his former team, you might wonder if he wants to move on from the acrimonious exit that sparked the animus of fans toward him.

The Nets point guard has said some things that give the impression he would like to move on from his split with the Celtics, having said (via MassLive’s Brian Robb) “hopefully, probably by the fourth year or after this series, we can be done talking about the past time and what happened there.”

Would it be mutually beneficial for all to move on?

This question was debated on the NBC Sports Boston “Sports Sunday” show with hosts Chris Felger and Chris Gasper offering their takes on if a reconciliation of sorts would even be possible — and if so, whether it would make sense.

Of course, there are many fans who wouldn’t even consider such a proposition,
