Should the Boston Celtics consider adding free agent forward Louis King to their roster for the NBA’s 2023-24 season? The Celtics are reportedly working out Lamar Stevens, TJ Warren, and King in an effort to find some depth help on the wing for what little money they have left to spend under the league’s new second apron, signaling that the storied ball club is not confident in the strength of their current wing rotation.
The Celtics will need a balanced roster that can play effectively on both ends of the court in the regular season and the playoffs both, and they do not have much in the way of wiggle room to recover should they make a mistake.
The host of the CLNS Media “Winning Plays” podcast Brian Robb recently linked up with NBC Sports Boston’s Chris Forsberg to talk over who the team ought to add to finish their roster for next season.
Check out the episode embedded above to hear what they had to say about which wing would make the most sense in green and white for the 2023-24 season.
