Should Rangers take a lowball offer for Ryan Kent and will England win the World Cup? - Saturday Jury

Should Rangers accept lowball bids for Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos?

Gordon Parks: Yes. If, and it’s a big if, some club is prepared to fork out a decent fee for either then Rangers should bite their hand off.

Scott Burns: The reality now is that neither are going to sign new deals. So any offers that come in, Rangers have to weigh up whether they would be better losing the players for free or selling them. I think it is more likely that Morelos would be sold, with Beale looking to keep a hold of Kent.

Fraser WIlson: Both might be off form but clubs will be eyeing the opportunity to get two players still of a decent age on the cheap. If Rangers can get a million quid for either next month then they should snap it up.

Daizen Maeda was a star man for Japan but should Ange Postecoglou give him a chance through the middle for Celtic?

Gordon Parks: There will be occasions where that’s the best way to deploy Maeda but Celtic’s style requires a more subtle link-up player and that may mean he’s shifted around as the striking workhorse of the fleet.

Scott Burns: I don’t think so. Kyogo and Giakoumakis are both better finishers and more natural goalscorers. I am not convinced that Maeda has that natural killer instinct that a top striker needs.

Fraser WIlson: Maeda absolutely thrived on the big stage in Qatar which was great to see. But he’s not a clinical finisher. He’s best utilised doing the doggy work for an out and out number nine.

Who will win today's World Cup quarter finals?

Gordon Parks: Morocco 0 Portugal 1: The return of Ronaldo from the temporary exile of the subs bench will prove decisive as he's a man on a mission to reclaim some positive and heroic headlines for himself. These games are being settled by moments of brilliance as he's plenty left in his armoury to be the key man.
England 0 France 2 Kylian Mbappe is the difference maker in this contest and it'll be a step up in class too far for Gareth Southgate's side. The French will have too much in every department against an English side which has been as impressive as it would like to believe.

Scott Burns: Portugal and France will win for similar reasons - their attacking options will be too strong for the defences of Morocca and England respectively. England, in particular, will struggle to handle Mbappe, who has been sensational so far.

Fraser Wilson: Portugal are hitting form at the right time and have plenty of firepower, even without Ronaldo starting, so they'll be too strong for Morocco. It'll be a similar story in the other match, with the French front four having too much for the English back line.

What chance have England got of going all the way?

Gordon Parks: None. France will send them home today as it’s hype without substance from the English once again and they have yet to play a strong side so far. Defensively they will be caught short.

Scott Burns: If they can beat France then it really does open up for them. I would still fancy Brazil or Argentina to see them off.

Fraser WIlson: Somewhere between little and none. They’ve yet to be tested and while they’ve scored a barrowload the Three Lions aren’t on the same level as France or Brazil.
