Aldi
Aldi stores will be closed on New Year's Day.
However, stores will reopen from 8am until 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2, 2023. Customers are urged to check their nearest store to double-check its opening hours.
B&M
Most B&M stores will be closed on New Year's Day, however, stores will reopen on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2, from 8am until 9pm.
Iceland
On New Year's Day, the majority of stores will be closed but some will be open from 10am to 5pm.
Lidl
Lidl stores will shut on New Year's Day and reopen on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2, from 8am to 8pm.
Poundland
Poundland will close all stores on New Year’s Day and will reopen at 8am on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2. The move is intended to give colleagues a well-deserved break.
Waitrose
All Waitrose stores are closed on New Year's Day, with the exception of a few - so check what your local one is doing.
