With the cost of food on the rise, shoppers are keen to spot a bargain. But when one woman shared a seemingly good deal for cheap chicken from Morrisons, not everyone was impressed.
Sharing a photo of a supermarket fridge full of the packs of meat, she said: "Morrisons today £1 chicken drumsticks (5) £1 wings (6)."
While some bargain hunters got quite excited about the offer - "Get stocking up, I want my wings", said one - others were quick to point out that for 500g packs, it's not actually that cheap at all.

"Expensive, that works out at £2 per kg....only £1.75 everywhere else," said one shopper, to which someone replied: "Yep never seen a 500g pack of chicken wings before."
Another added: "This isn't a bargain by the way. Just because they put a yellow sticker on it people forget to look at the weight and compare it to other stores. For 500g it's more than elsewhere. Supermarkets know how to fool some people it seems lol."
And from looking at the prices at other supermarkets, it does appear that the sceptics have a point.
A quick check shows that Sainsbury's is selling a 1kg pack of chicken wings for £1.85 under its Aldi Price Match scheme, which works out at just over 92p for 500g.
Drumsticks on the other hand are slightly more expensive - £2.09 for a kg at both Aldi and Sainsbury's - but with a difference of just 9p, Morrisons deal isn't quite as good as it may first appear.
In our weekly comparison of basics like bread and milk, it's Morrisons that has worked out as the most expensive for a number of weeks now - with meat prices in particular higher than the other supermarkets.
However, the retailer says it is running a number of money-saving initiatives and has unveiled 'a new and improved' My Morrisons app, offering a loyalty programme which 'makes it easier for customers to save money'. It's a cash-reward system, rather than points-based, so it 'means customers no longer need to save up their points or wait for vouchers'.
