Yesterday, supermarket giant Lidl launched its luxurious budget Valentine's Day range in stores. Prices for its Valentine's Day themed food start at £1.99, and the range includes items like heart-shaped macarons, heart-shaped chicken nuggets, ice cream cones shaped like roses, and steak with prosecco butter.
Lidl's range for Valentine's Day 2023 allows shoppers to enjoy a luxury, restaurant-style meal for less than £10. But while most of the items have got shoppers excited, one of its meals has repulsed some people - who are saying it looks like 'bloody human ears'. Tasty
Posting on both Facebook and Instagram, the NewFoodsUK page shared pictures from the Lidl Valentine's Day range. The post read: "New Valentine’s Day products at Lidl GB." But it wasn't long before shoppers pointed out that the red Ravioli with Ricotta Cheese, Tomato and Mozzarella di Bufala Campana, looks a little bit gruesome.

Kieran Fox said: "I thought that ravioli was bloody cut off ears" He added: " Cannot unsee it now."
Louise Thompson agreed: "Why did I think the box of ravioli was a load of ears?" On the brand's Instagram page, heistchocolate said: "The ravioli look like ears."
Adele Paterson said: "I thought this was a pack of ears." Katrina James said: "I thought it was tongues."
Bloody body parts aside, shoppers were excited to try the range. They're calling it 'delicious' and 'yummy'.
Julie Cooper exclaimed: "Looks delicious." Natalie Patnell said: "Gnocchi and ravioli! The red velvet puds look good too."
Helen James said; "we need to get all of these!!!" Bethany Thompson-Lee excitedly said: "Macaron hearts!!"
missabbieinnes wrote on Instagram: "Ooo I'll have to get us some of them red velvet pots." rainydayz1_ said: "want the olives look at the cheese, hoping I can have the macarons."
