Shoppers hit back at 'nostalgic' chocolate for 'ruining a perfectly good' snack

Shoppers have hit back at a new version of a childhood favourite chocolate.

Terry's Chocolate Orange have launched a new orange with exploding candy in it. Many remember the fascination of exploding candy, also known as popping candy, from when they were kids.

The changing noises as you open and close your mouth would bring so much joy to children and now you can experience it alongside the classic chocolate orange.

This isn't a brand new idea with Terry's selling a bag of Chocolate Orange Sensations that include a range of different flavours with exploding candy in them.

However, after the news that Asda was supplying the new version was shared on NewsFoodUK Facebook group, many were quick to comment that they were in no rush to buy it.

One replied: "Why ruin a perfectly good chocolate orange!"

"Terry's Chocolate Orange ....is just that. Leave it be!" Another fumed.

A third argued: "Should just be left left as its original flavour."

But many others were ecstatic over the exploding candy addition.

"Screw the diet! This is a need!" One fan said.

A second yelled: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LIFE IS WORTH LIVING AGAIN."

"Looks like I’m going asda Friday," Another said.
