Air fryers are as popular as ever with people rushing to the stores to buy one.
And if they're not trying to grab the last one left on the shelf, they're hoping that the kitchen gadget will still be in their basket by the time they checkout.
The surge in air fryer sales comes as the cost of living is rising with many people looking at ways to save money in the kitchen as they try and prep their meals for a fraction of the cost.

People are said to now be turning off their oven and replacing it with air fryers - but one person has come up with an alternative - and other shoppers are in an agreement that it could actually be better than the air fryer itself.
Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one shopper posted to the groups two million members what she had purchased.
She said: "Been searching the web for the best air fryer at the best price, came across this on the very site after receiving a £50 off voucher in the post this morning when you sign up for very pay (you get 20 per cent off for signing up anyway which is pretty much the same for this).
"Already has £20 off so a massive saving I was planning to pay it off straight away but you can actually spread the cost over 3 months with no interest! I was going to get the new tower one but this one seems a lot better quality although it’s an oven it still air fry’s and can fit pizzas in! Not costing that much more then the tower."
The product she is talking about is the 'Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Multifunction Oven DT200UK' which currently costs £229. The description reads: "The Ninja Foodi is so much more than an oven - create everything from bubbling cheese-on-toast to a whole roast chicken and fluffy roast potatoes with 10 functions - Air Fry, Roast, Whole Roast, Grill, Bake, Pizza, Dehydrate, Reheat, Toast and Bagel."
It then adds that it benefits from the following features:
- Up to 40% Faster Than A Fan Oven: Quickly and easily create family-sized meals in as little as 30 minutes. Say goodbye to long waiting times with a super-quick 90 second preheat.
- Cook On 2 Levels: With 2-level cooking, you can fit a main and sides at the same time - so there's no need to use multiple appliances to cook a complete meal. Roast a chicken with potatoes, Tuscan roast pork with vegetables, traditional fish and chips, or cook 2 oven pizzas at the same time! A digital oven rack guide illuminates to help you choose the optimal rack positions for each cooking function.
- True Surround Convection: Enjoy fast, crispy and even results. A high-velocity fan, rear heat source and surround airflow combine to circulate superheated air throughout the entire oven for even cooking on 2 racks - no need to rotate your cooking trays or flip your food.
- Air Fry Using Little To No Oil: Enjoy extra-crispy results, up to 75% less fat than traditional frying methods**.
- Easy To Use & Clean: Simply select a cooking function, time and temperature or toast shade with touchscreen controls and a digital display. A removable crumb tray slides out so you can easily clean up crumbs and small spills. Get started straight away with a chef-created Recipe Guide.
In response to the post one said: "They are absolutely brilliant we have one."
Another added: "I’ve removed my oven all together and just have these now. Don’t miss my oven at all."
"I have this and it’s fantastic! Never use an oven now" wrote a third.
Meanwhile a fourth added: "We upgraded to this from the ninja air fryer. Haven't used oven since. Can do anything and everything in it."
You can purchase the product from the Very.co.uk website.
