Shoppers looking to spruce up their home for summer have found a mirror nearly identical to one at high end retailer John Lewis for nearly half the price. Once again, budget supermarket Aldi has stunned shoppers with a homeware piece that’s ‘amazing for the price’.
The online exclusive Specialbuy has been a ‘top seller in this category’, with customers rushing to click ‘add to basket’ before it sells out.
The Kirkton House Gold Arch Mirror comes in at £34.99 in comparison to the John Lewis and Partners Arch Mirror , which is on sale for £60, down from £70.

The decorative mirror is very on-trend, with soft curves and a modern design that adds glamour to any space, be it sprucing up the hallway, the bathroom or even your dressing table. Mirrors like this are particularly good for small spaces, reflecting light to make the room appear more spacious.
Aldi said the ‘bold design will make your next room upgrade your best yet’ and customers are certainly pleased with their purchases, leaving a string of positive reviews on the Aldi website.
Shopper ‘ATC1’ said: “I’ve been after an overmantle mirror like this for months. I didn’t want to pay John Lewis’ price so when I saw this and the reviews, I knew I should buy it, and I am so pleased I did. The quality, size and weight are amazing for the price. Definitely recommend this to anyone.”
Nats added: “I bought this mirror on behalf of my nan for her downstairs hallway and it is a great new feature and makes the hallway look bigger. She is very happy with it.”
Meisafairy loved the budget mirror so much, she bought four, costing a total of £139.96. They wrote: “Absolutely in love with the four mirrors I purchased. I had spent many months searching for mirrors on my tight budget for my new home and couldn’t be more delighted. Less than a third of the price of other retailers. Lovely quality and a very strong and heavy frame.”
The mirror is actually bigger than John Lewis’ , measuring 80cm by 84cm, whereas the more expensive mirror is 70cm by 50cm. The gold mirror was also available in black, but proved so popular, it sold out.
The Aldi piece also looks like a smaller arch mirror from Dunelm , which is available for £55. Dunelm’s version has had a whopping 225 five star reviews, and is said to look ‘more expensive than it is’.
Angles are so last season, so if you want to get your hands on the Aldi arch mirror before it sells out, you can buy it online for £34.99 here.
