Shoppers have been heaping praise on an affordable moisturiser that smells ‘exactly like’ their favourite perfume. Not only is the body moisturiser a hydrating and affordable way to combat dry skin, it seems everyone is agreeing on one thing - its nostalgic scent is a reminder of the iconic Marc Jacobs fragrance, Daisy.
The smell-a-like beauty buy from The Body Shop could save customers a whopping £75, and offer a similar fragrance - with more hydrated skin.
The retailer’s Cool Daisy Body Yogurt costs £12, compared to 100ml of Marc Jacobs’ popular perfume, which retails at £87, which is more than a 150 per cent difference in price. But those in love with the dupe-fragranced find will have to act fast, as it’s limited edition.

The lightweight gel-cream formula is said to offer 48-hour hydration - and shoppers can’t get enough of it.
Experts at The Body Shop said: “The Cool Daisy Body Yogurt is perfect for combatting dry skin as we move into the cooler months. The lightweight gel-cream provides 48-hour moisture that can leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
“The product’s fresh and cool scent is particularly distinct, and one that has garnered a wave of positive reviews from customers. Ingredients include sweet almond seed extract, limonene derived from the peels of citrus fruits, and citronellol which can be found in the oils of rose. Together these ingredients create a cool and refreshing floral scent, making it the perfect transitional fragrance from summer into autumn.”
Shoppers who have slathered themselves in the body product have adored the smell - and one mum even has to hide it from her kids. She said: “The smell of this cream is absolutely divine and lasts ages on my skin. Cream is beautiful and soaks in without leaving my skin sticky. I have to hide my tub from my kids…they love it too!”
Another added: “Love this product, smells exactly like the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. Very cooling on the skin – Gorgeous”.
"Lovely fragrance for this time of year,” wrote another shopper: “It reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy."
A fourth commented: “Love the soft, fresh scent. I only use Body Shop yogurt lotion. It goes on so easily and absorbs quickly. Not greasy at all.”
With the news that Marc Jacobs recently extended the line of fragrances to include a new scent with a citrus twist, the Cool Daisy Body Yogurt is an affordable way of recreating the original Daisy scent loved by many.
