Shoppers go crazy over feature on Home Bargains Christmas bedding that only shows in the dark

It doesn't take much to get shoppers excited at this time of year. With stores packed with all kinds of Christmas gifts and decorations, there's always something that gets people in a tiz.

But there's one product people are particularly keen to get their hands on this year and that's Home Bargains' Christmas bedding.

That's because not only does it feature cute Christmas designs but there's something quite unique about it too - it glows in the dark.

We sampled two of the single sets - a blue one featuring Santa in his sleigh flying along with his reindeer and a red one featuring elves and a 'ho ho ho' slogan.

There are also Grinch ones available, in both single and double sizes. It didn't take too much time under the light to get the effect of the glow in the dark pattern. Nobody needs to be adding to those electricity bills!

It did however seem more visible on the blue bedding, probably because it has larger glowing sections - the full moon on the duvet cover and pillow case - rather than the smaller moons and stars on the red one.

Either way, it's something quite unique. Both my children loved theirs and it brings a bit more magic to this festive time of year.

The bedding sets can be ordered online, however the blue one we picked up does not appear on the website but is available in stores.

This Christmas the retailer has also partnered with the NSPCC once again and created a range of limited-edition products, including a duvet set.

Marking the tenth year of working together, the products, which also include pyjamas, mugs and Christmas cards, raise much-needed funds for the children’s charity and Home Bargains has committed to donating £80,000 from the sales of this range.
