Shoppers divided over new drinks inspired by nostalgic 'tuck-shop' sweets

Shoppers have been left divided over new drinks that are expected to land on our supermarket shelves.

The fizzy drinks from Barratts are inspired by some of our favourite childhood sweets we remember buying from the tuck-shop. Soon shoppers will be able to get their hands on Flump flavoured fizzy juice, as well Dip Dab flavour, Wham bar, and Fruit Salad flavour.

The post shared by John's Snack Reviews caught the attention of many sweet-tooths, but as the news spread across social media, it has left shoppers split.

In the post, John Snack Reviews shared images of the drinks adding: "Should be coming very soon to Poundland Heron Foods, Farmfoods and B&M."

This comes after Iceland sold still water that was Fruit Salad flavoured, but some customers admitted it left a bad taste in their mouth.

On the post, one person commented: "The water was vile!!!! Not holding out much hope for these."

Another replied: "Not going to lie, these sound absolutely vile."

"I can see these tasting minging."

But others were more excited for it. One reminisced about the childhood sweets: "I'm trying not to have sugar and you bring me wham! Loved wham bars back in the day"

A second added: "I wanna try the wham bar one."

What do you think of the new flavoured drinks? Let us know in the comments.
