With the current cost of living crisis and concerns surrounding energy prices, many homeowners have been looking at ways to feed their family for less - including using energy-saving appliances like slow cookers and air fryers.
And there’s one dual air fryer that shoppers can’t add to their basket fast enough, after it came back into stock at Argos this week.
Some say they hit ‘checkout’ so fast it was all a ‘blur’, while others haven’t used their oven at all since trying out the device.

The Tower T17088 9L Dual Basket Vortx Air Fryer may not be the cheapest kitchen appliance at £130 , but if you used it every day like some buyers already have, your cost per use will be down to pennies by the New Year.
Not only that, but some shoppers have been comparing it to the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer , which is £100 more expensive than the Tower fryer.
The affordable air fryer has a nine litre capacity and two separate cooking baskets to save arguments on what’s for dinner.
Little to no oil is required, making it a healthier option, and it has a 30 per cent faster cooking time compared to conventional ovens, making it the ideal alternative for those looking to save on their energy usage at home.
The air fryer was shared by an excited shopper on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook Group, which racked up more than 600 comments in 24 hours.
Dani Shortt said: “I have this exact model! It’s absolutely brilliant, healthier meals for my children, and less energy usage than an average oven!”
AJ Marlz added: “I have this and it's amazing!! Literally used it every night since we brought it.” While Laura Bozena Nightingale commented: “I go and fetch mine today! Buying it was a blur, I saw it was in stock and approximately 30 seconds later I’d complete purchase.”
The air fryer has 12 one-touch pre-sets for all your air fryer favourites including fries and chicken, with individual control over each compartment. It’s also got a re-heat function, cool zone, and digital timer so that everything is ready bang on time.
According to Argos , 100 per cent of reviewers said they’d recommend this air fryer, which has earned itself a string of five star reviews. Customer Chris said: “I bought this a month ago and is the best purchase I ever made, easy, no mess and fast love love love.”
‘Bargainhunter’ has completely ditched her oven since buying the air fryer, writing: “This is amazing. I haven’t used my oven since I purchased this. Takes a while to get used to the functions but now it’s a breeze. Best purchase ever.”
And Lottie added: “I do not know why I have waited so long to get an air fryer. Love it. Quick and easy.”
You can buy the £130 Tower air fryer on the Argos website here - but you’ll have to be fast because it’s likely to sell out again quickly.
