While some may be switching brand names to supermarket own brand alternatives, others will be taking advantage of discount codes and coupons that can shave pounds of your receipt.
The Mirror reported that the price of food and non-alcoholic beverages in the UK rose by 16.8 per cent in the year to January 2023, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
