Thrillseekers can save on days out to Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Legoland and Sea Life as Merlin Annual Passes go on sale today. Their ‘Year of Epic’ sale launched at midday today (April 25) and has seen the price of annual passes slashed by up to £60 off.
Families will be able to secure a year’s worth of fun-filled adventures for as little as £69 per person, which provides entry into a number of popular Merlin Events attractions across the UK.
Pass holders can visit the World of David Walliams, or the family favourite CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort, take on the roller coasters at Thorpe Park Resort and come face to face with penguins, sea turtles, sharks and jellyfish at Sea Life Aquariums.

The four-week sale will end on May 22, giving customers a month to snap up their pass and plan their adventures, with a choice of discovery, silver, gold and platinum passes to pick from.
Pass holders can gain access to over 50 special events across the country. 2022 will also see the return of family-favourite events such as Oktoberfest at Alton Towers and Thorpe Park, a selection of Halloween celebrations and the return of the famous Alton Towers firework spectacular.
A Merlin Annual Pass also sees families unlock further discounts at attractions, such as 20 per cent off food, drinks and retail, up to 20 per cent off short breaks at Resort hotels with Merlin Holiday Club, as well as discounted entry for family and friends.
Those purchasing gold or platinum membership receive extra perks including free car parking at Resort Theme Parks, less restricted access to the attractions during peak periods and money off a limited number Fastrack vouchers.
The sale sees the price of the discovery pass slashed from £89 to £69, while their most expensive pass - the platinum - is down to £239 from £299. The silver passes can be snapped up for £119, while gold members will pay a reduced price of £179 for their extra perks.
Speaking about the new ‘Year of EPIC’ Sale, Jordan Middleton, Senior Marketing Manager for Merlin Annual Pass, said: “Following the popularity of our ‘Wizards Wanted’ Sale earlier this year, we wanted to give guests another opportunity to secure a Merlin Annual Pass at a great price and continue to make magical memories this year.
“With 2022 looking more positive for life returning to normal once again, the Merlin Annual Pass is the best way to spark those epic family adventures and make up for lost time while not breaking the bank.”
