Sainsbury’s shoppers can't get enough of a ‘vintage’ style dress after seeing it on Instagram.
The retro floral print square neck dress has been popping up all over social media and influencers including ashleylouisejames and thefashion_lift are among those heaping praise on the dress, which is part of the supermarket's Tu clothing range. The £24 dress, which features a square neckline and puff sleeves, is now only available in limited sizes online due to its popularity.
Sharing a picture of the dress on its Instagram page, Tu Clothing said: “Picnics, tea, cake and strolls through the city… Are what summers' are made of! @Thefashion_lift is ready for a summer of fun in the petite retro square neck dress.”

One shopper commented: “Love the dress” and another added: “Wore this dress last Saturday for my daughters 21st birthday party!!”.
People have also been praising the dress in the reviews section on the Tu Clothing website, with one saying: “I’ve never bought anything from Tu and usually go for second hand/vintage clothing but I could not resist this print. Lovely quality and looks great on. Had a lot of compliments on the dress and the print. Really pleased with the purchase,” and another adding: “I love everything about this dress. Perfect fit, great vintage feel fabric. Not see through. The pattern and colours are why I brought this, I have compliments every time I wear it. Comfy design too."
A third dress owner said: “Really nice retro print. Very heavy fabric and it was lined too. Elastic around the middle so quiet forgiving,” and another recommended the dress, saying: "“I had seen this in store & loved it but they didn’t have my size. Saw the amazing Ashley James wearing it on insta not long after & knew I needed it. I’m between 2 sizes and went for the larger because I have large boobs but should’ve gone smaller, it’s a generous fit even on the bust. Highly recommend.”
Tu Clothing is available in Sainsbury’s stores and online here.
