As a "collector of weird things", Dan Smith* claims he was struck by the strangeness of a painting that he spotted during a visit to his local flea market, and knew then and there that he wanted to bring it home with him.
Although the woman at the stall allegedly warned Dan against buying the artwork, he chose not to listen. Upon reflection, he now regards his purchase as being the "ultimate bad decision", and claims that it has since wreaked havoc upon his life.
The artwork in question shows two children's dolls seated together against a green-blue background. One of them is a blonde baby doll in a pink dress, while the other is a Raggedy Ann-style toy with a mane of red hair.
