Lurpak prices has soared in recent months - with some furious shoppers being forced to pay more than £7 a tub in some supermarkets.
Brits love the luxury butter, which is made by Danish company Arla Foods, more than any other country as they buy the tasty spread in their millions.
But households will see their yearly food shopping bills hiked by £380 this year as the price of groceries skyrockets - and it's butter lovers who are being hit incredibly hard.
In July this year, one shopper spotted a 750g tub of spreadable Lurpak butter would set them back a whopping £7.25 in their local Sainsbury's.
And it's only set to get worse as the Lurpak owner has admitted prices will continue to rise due to problems filling vacancies in the dairy industry.
However, there are some bargains to be had as one a person has stumbled across a sensational deal in their local shop - but there is a catch.

Posting on Reddit, the shopper shared a snap of a tub of Lurpak which had originally cost £5.50, but had been reduced by £3 to the budget price of just £2.50.
But they did point out that the tub had reached it's 'best before' date on that same day, so anyone wanting it at its freshest would need to be quick.
They wrote: "Cracking offer. Assuming you can consume 500g in the next 7 hours."
Many people rushed to the comments - with some seeing this as a challenge they were willing to complete.
"What you mean you can't consume 500g of lurpack in 7 hours or less??? The f*** have I been doing with it then," replied one person.
Another added: "Give me a few of them mega big crumpets by Warburtons, a jar of marmite and I’ll get my monies worth!"
While a third said: "One loaf of tiger bread and i'll have that tub demolished in one sitting, no problem!"
Other people were quick to point out that this was a 'best before' date and not a 'use by', so there was actually no need to munch it all before the day was out.
"It'll last for weeks. But if you're feeling naughty, grab a spoon and tuck in," commented one person.
Another agreed: "Butter lasts pretty much forever sealed and chilled. I've eaten butter > 6 months out of date, and it was absolutely fine. I'd give it the smell/eye test, for sure, but I expect you'd be fine for possibly multiple years."
"Put it in the freezer, then when you need it it’ll still be good for a week or two in the fridge," someone suggsted.
Some customers have seen the funny side of the rising cost of Lurpak and poked fun at the price tags.
Arla, which owns Lurpak butter and Cravendale milk, said prices are set to rise more due to problems filling vacancies in the dairy industry.
The dairy giant said 80% of farmers looking for workers have had 'very few' or 'zero' decent applications this year.
Farmers also face paying higher costs of animal food, fertiliser and fuel, meaning dairy prices must rise.
Arla Foods UK managing director, Ash Amirahmadi, said milk production in Britain has fallen 3% this year already, the first decrease since 2015.
He told The Telegraph : "If 3% gets to 5%, we know that will lead to shortages, in terms of [meaning] we can’t meet the demand that’s there."
Amirahmadi added that "there is more inflation to come" with dairy prices.
