A shoplifter was left quite literally 'red-faced' after they were caught walking out of a store with a large haul of make up without paying.
Greater Manchester Police based in Salford caught the offender who claimed they had 'forgot' to pay.
Sharing an image of the cosmetics on Facebook, the force joked that in exchange for the haul they gave thief 'a pair of our silver bracelets'.

The stolen haul included a large amount of No7 Airbrush Away products such as foundation and face powder.
In the post, GMP Salford said: "A large quantity of makeup was #seized from a shoplifter who was left red faced when they walked out the store and "forgot" to pay for the goods
"Don't worry though, in exchange for this haul we gave the offender a pair of our silver bracelets to wear for the journey to custody."
