Nectar cardholders are in with a chance of winning up to £25 when they shop at Sainsbury's this Saturday, February 4.
The giveaway is the last chance to take part in Nectar's Big Points Bonanza, which has been running for nine days since January 27. All Nectar users who spend £20 or more in Sainsbury’s supermarkets on Saturday will receive a printed coupon for between 50-5,000 bonus points, worth between 25p and £25.
However, the promotion is only available at larger stores, so the offer is not available at any of Sainsbury's 800 Local outlets. It is also not available online. In the North East, the following stores are taking part in the promotion:

Nectar is giving away over a total of 50million points in the Big Points Bonanza promotion, which gives Nectar users three different ways to win over the course of the nine-day long promotion. As well as Saturday's chance to win up to £25, cardholders can enter a prize draw where 50 lucky shoppers will win a million Nectar points each, worth at least £5,000 plus across the nine days, 45 Nectar customers will win a surprise 10,000 bonus points, worth up to £50, when they shop instore, via SmartShop or online and scan their Nectar card or app. There will be five winners each day.
To take part in the draw on Saturday:
- Spend at least £20 in one transaction at Sainsbury's on Saturday, February 4. Some non-food items are excluded from the qualifying spend, for example, spirits, liqueurs, tobacco and lottery products, among others.
- Scan your Nectar card or app before checking out.
- You'll get a printed coupon for 50 to 5,000 bonus points. You'll then need to redeem this with your next in-store shop of 1p or more.
Sam Burston, Director of Nectar & Loyalty at Sainsbury’s, said: “As our customers look for more ways to save money, we want to be able to provide great value and exciting offers for them. We want to help them to get the most out of their shopping, which is why we’ve launched The Big Points Bonanza, a nine-day bonus points event where every customer can be a winner. We love giving shoppers the feeling of little wins and this points giveaway is the perfect way to surprise and delight our Nectar customers this January.”
Nectar offers discounted prices and points when customers shop at Sainsbury’s. Nectar customers can also collect and spend points at a variety of the UK’s brands including Argos, British Airways and eBay. If you don't already have a Nectar card, you can join the scheme online for free to take part in the February promotion.
