A woman who failed to get treatment for her bulldog's wounds after it was left in agony has been banned from keeping dogs.
The six-month-old XL bully-type breed called Babyface had stitch wounds that became infected after undergoing an ear cropping procedure, which is illegal in the UK.
The puppy's owner, 35-year-old Jade O'Brien from Stockport, said the procedure had been carried out abroard but admitted she did not take her to a vet for treatment as she 'knew she would get in trouble' and asked her gardener for help instead.
