The Scottish SPCA is renewing calls for a glue trap ban after a magpie and sparrow were discovered in one of the traps at an address in Wishaw.
The Scottish Government announced their intention to ban glue traps this parliamentary term earlier in the year and the UK Government is also considering a ban.
The Society has long been opposed to the use of glue traps, which are trays coated with a sticky adhesive typically used to trap rodents and animals classed as vermin.
